Nancy is a playable character in The Texas Chain Saw Massacre game. She is a member of the Slaughter Family.
Personality[]
Nancy is manipulative, using her looks as a means to earn the trust of strangers and lure them into dangerous situations.
Appearance[]
Nancy has brown eyes, and short, wavy dark brown hair. She wears a beige headband and a half-body apron of the same color. Her dress is light blue with a floral pattern, and her shoes are white. She wears earrings and cat eye glasses. Her left eye is cloudy.
Lore[]
"Black" Nancy earned her nickname from the locals in the area in reference to the death that surrounds her. She has been married three times, each husband either mysteriously disappearing or becoming a victim of an unexplained death. Being unable to bear children of her own, Nancy used her friendly appearance and demeanor to earn the trust of Johnny's birth mother, Judith. She killed the mother, but in the process Nancy lost an eye and got her left eye permanently blinded, she then took the child (Johnny} as one of her own. Having raised Johnny is a direct cause of his evil nature.
After the disappearance of Maria Flores, Danny Gaines arrived at Nancy's doorstep seeking information on her whereabouts. As a result, Nancy invited him inside and attempted to kill him.
Abilities[]
Nancy's ability “spy” allows her to see through the eyes of Victims. However, this ability comes at the cost of a short stun afterward. Nancy can also use Sissy's poison stations to boost and get her power back faster.
Nancy also has a trap ability, she can set up to 3 traps between wall cracks and doors, they injure victims and attach a little chain to their legs that makes noise which will help any Family member nearby to easily detect Victims.
Trivia[]
- In addition to them (Johnny and Nancy) each having a distinctive feature on the left side of their face and being adept at using their appearance to get close to people, Nancy and her son are both based on many different serial killers from the 1960s and 70s.
- It is Possible that Nancy is based off the character and appearance of Luda May Hewitt from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003).
- Based on their interactions and voice lines, Nancy and Johnny have a one-sided relationship, as Johnny is not fond of and seems to not acknowledge the love his mother shows him.
