Introduction
Leland McKinney is a playable character that appears in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre game. He is part of the original cast of Victims that were available upon the game's release.
Personality
While Leland might have wrestled in high school, college life is a long way from high school and his glory days of wrestling. He is the strongest of the group, but Strength is no replacement for actual Toughness and comes at a cost of Stealth. Equipped with the Life Saver ability, he is still no match one on one against the likes of the Slaughter Family and therefore his capabilities benefit from teamwork with his peers.
Lore
A dapper and confident young man, Leland never dealt with rejection in his high school days. He was always at the top and would never back away from a challenge. As he graduated high school, he decided to pursue college and be one of the best wrestlers on a national level but he soon realized that college is much different from school and his glory days were over. Several weeks in he met Maria Flores and soon became very close friends with her and he introduced her to his friends, where Danny Gaines saw her for the first time and fell in love with her.
Leland had feelings and very much so liked Julie, often flirting with her and even gave her a nickname (Jules). Julie liked him back but did not show her feelings towards him and never told him how she felt but Leland kept trying despite the fact. He was the one who drove his friends to find Maria around the area she went messing in, when they stopped at a gas station and met an older man (Cook) who told them to camp in for the night and he would help them with the search the following morning, only to be ambushed and kidnapped by the family members later that same night.
Ability
Leland's life saver ability helps in defending himself or teammates by knocking down and stunning Family members.
